Caesar
Caesar is my three year old Congo African Grey. I am his third and final owner. We've had a bit of a rocky start getting to know each other but with lots of time and patience things have improved. I took Caesar into my home in July of 2008 when his former owner was no longer able to keep him. Though life with parrots can sometimes be tough I certainly wouldn't trade my little Grey boy for anything.

African Grey Facts
- There are two subspecies, the Congo and the Timneh.
- Along with the Eclectus these birds are one of the most intelligent parrot species.
- They are particularly noted for their exceptional talking and cognitive abilities.
- Their lifespan is 40 to 60 years.
- It is the Grey's deeply emphatic nature that makes them so beloved.
- These parrots have the mental capacity of a 5 year old child.
